Public Inquiry now ended - 18 May 2007
The Public Inquiry ended on Friday 18th May 2007.
The Closing Submission made to the Inquiry by Sebastian Head, counsel to CAPRI, can be read by clicking on 'Latest News' on the left.
The Inspectors have indicated that they will submit their reports and recommendation to the Inspectorate on or before 17th August, or earlier if possible. The report and recommendation will then be sent to the Secretaries of State for decision.

Appeal starts 24th April
The Public Inquiry, which will be held at Corse and Staunton Village Hall, opens on 24th April. Sittings will be on 24th, 25th, 26th and 27th April, with morning sessions opening at 10 am and the afternoon ones at 2 pm. Because of the elections, there will be no sittings the following week, and the Inquiry will reconvene on Tuesday 8th May, at 2 pm and continue for the rest of that week, with the morning sessions opening at 10 am.

Barrister Appointed
CAPRI has appointed Sebastian Head of Headland Chambers Taunton as its advocate to represent it at the forthcoming Public Inquiry. Mr Head specialises in planning law and runs an extensive and highly successful practice in the south west of England.
A series of meetings are being held with Mr Head to brief him fully on the CAPRI case.
